Spent the end of the day out at a rare visit to Lagunen, to find one last halloween costume. Thanks to Toys R Us I found the skeleton costume right away, then walked back to the main mall Lagunen and found the last of the rest of the other things I needed. Åhlens was having a slight sale, and I found some black Christmas open cylindrical metal candle holders, and white paraffin candles, which I can now use for both halloween and a black and white Christmas, along with the red things such as handmade red felt and red paper hearts.
From Sentrum bus station, take a 600 bus to Nesttun, or an 83 bus or the bybanen directly to Nesttun, get on any of those buses going out of sentrum (they all go past Lagunen). When the overhead monitors read "Lagunen" press the red stop button to let the driver know to stop. There are lots of surrounding stores such as Fretex and restaurants, and then the main mall, with other toy stores such as Brio, and a COOPS grocery store. All malls here have a grocery store in them, usually on the understairs/basement floor.
The prices of the skeleton outfit I wanted to get was as inexpensive as Nilla, the discount store, which was out of the correct size. There is also a large Nilla in Lagunen. COOPS and others, had huge carving jack-o-lantern pumpkins, and glass jack-o-lantern candle holders, etc.
Lots of buses all day and into the night til closing into and from sentrum. All the buses go somewhere near sentrum bus station. Traffic nearly cased me to miss my connecting bus to the island, but I ran and just barely made it right before the bus was about to leave.
There´s lots of construction works going on both at Lagunen and the old part of the bus station, so I did not like the fumey paint thinner etc as I had to run thru the temporary access area of the bus station! Wow really made me dizzy, smelled like what people breath in in spray cans to get high:(. Second time I had that problem when no choice to go around as they´ve had to block off that usual sidewalk access:(.
