Mountain Hikes 8: Ulriken, and Gullfjellet

Ulriken, at about 2,000 miles above sea level, is the highest of "The 7 Mountains" (there are actually more) that surround Bergen. The highest mountain surrounding Bergen, though not included in "The 7 Mountains", is Gullfjellet, at about 3,200 feet above sea level. Gullfjellet is situated on the border of the Bergen municipality, which maybe is why it is not included in "The 7 Mountains". Nonetheless, it is a very important hiking mountain, often used. Due to this and the fierce weather it receives, there are numerous large cairns marking paths across the mountain.

Ulriken, has the ulriksbanen, but you can also choose to walk/hike up and down the mountain also.
