Info: PANT recycling and Sunday shopping

Pant. Recycling area at the Sunday bodega I go to. Most grocery stores here have a recycling area to safely get rid of various types of glass light bulbs including the long ones, old batteries, and to recycle plastic bottles for cash  back. You put the uncrushed bottle with lid on, into the machine, one at a time, it counts them, then gives you change. There are often places nearby for separate recycling of plastic, paper, glass, other.
Sunday usually has a more limited selection of items, but you can also ask for something to be gotten from the usual selection, if you would like something else you know they usually have. Usually most things are closed Sundays, and the few grocery stores open often only have a tiny part of the store open, which is specifically only for Sunday shopping. The bakery areas baking fresh breads and pastries will not be open, so these items are usually gone already from Saturday.
One of the open Sunday groceries. The mountains are just a slight walk away
Waiting for the bus back home. Both the bus and bybanen are right here, and as usual everything is surrounded by mountains all around...

One of my fave bodegas, just across from the bus station. They sell fresh items such as okra, pumpkin, curry leaves, whole spices, etc

Tourist Season is starting again. Below is one of the many huge tourist buses already starting to arrive in town each day...

View, albeit not a very good one, of the surrounding islands, on my bus ride home
