Tourist in my own city Day 1 (add pics)

Well-seasoned travelers would never ever do the touristy thing, they´d be mortified to even admit to it, yeah. I used to be like that, even when not-so-well-traveled. Not so much now. Now, after having  lived all over the US and in numerous countries and many foreign cities, having never really ever done the tourist thing, I find it fun and exciting, interesting and educational, to do the apparently embarrassing thing of being a tourist. Especially in the town/area you actually live in!

But ya know what, I´ve had a fantastic time seeing things I´d have never done before, simply because it was something a tourist would do. We´re all tourists, no matter how well-traveled. None of us are locals in a new city, and there´s nothing to be ashamed or spiteful of, simply because it is something you think a local would not do.
